The blanket measures 81” L x 45” W (206cm x 114cm). Our luxuriously soft poly-blend, square-knit fleece is about the size of a full/queen blanket. The chiliBLANKET weighs 15 pounds and is made in China.
As a “hydro-capable” weighted blanket, you can use it with or without water:
+ On its own, it works as a regular weighted blanket. It literally will become your “security blanket” and best pal that you can use anywhere in your home, on your porch, when you travel, or just plain anywhere you’d like to feel extra-safe and super-snuggly.
+ When paired with a ChiliSleep control unit, you can use it to cool you down or warm you up. Inside the blanket are tiny, hidden tubes; outside there’s a small clamshell connection -- these features allow you to easily combine it with water for the ultimate sleep cocoon of your dreams.
We offer two main products that work to turn a regular weighted blanket into an amazingly comforting temperature-controlled weighted blanket:
+ Cube. The Cube is a temp-controlled sleep system controlled by an attached control unit with a water tank. The control unit measures 12" x 12"x 12" and can be placed next to your bed. (While the unit can be placed under the bed, ensure there’s ample space for ventilation; a clearance of 18 inches on all sides is recommended).
+ OOLER. The OOLER is a versatile, temperature-regulated sleep system that is similar to the Cube but features app-control scheduling to pre-set and control your bed’s ideal temperature. You put the pad on top of your mattress and cover it with a fitted sheet. The control unit features a low-profile design and measures 15” L x 10” W x 6” H.
The hose is 5 ft. long. In addition, we also offer a 3-foot extension tube for those who need more length to store their control units comfortably.
We offer several great combo options -- you can purchase the blanket alone or with an additional control unit, if you'd like to use the chili Cool Mesh PAD and chiliBLANKET, at the same time.
Unzip the outer cover and remove the weighted insert, which is secured in place by fabric ties. The removable outer cover is machine washable in a front-load or top-load washing machine (without an agitator). To wash, use cold water on a delicate cycle. To dry, use a low-heat setting.
Please note: the weighted insert is spot-clean only.
To reinsert the blanket to the cover after washing, follow these steps
- If cover was zipped for washing -
1. Unzip
2. turn the cover inside out so the ties on the cover are exposed, and lay flat
3. Place weighted insert on top of cover,
4. Tie the cover to the weighted insert,
5. Turn right side out,
6. Zip.
